About Daily Horoscope

The Daily Horoscope serves each of the twelve zodiac signs a fresh reading every day. Pick your sign and you get a one-line overall reading, star ratings and notes for love, work, money and wellbeing, a thought for the day, and a lucky color, item, and number. Everything is determined by the date and your sign — open it ten times on the same day and you get the same reading, because a horoscope you can re-roll until it flatters you is a slot machine, not a horoscope.

We think of a horoscope as a morning stretch: a small ritual for deciding what mood to open the day with, plus a lucky item for fun. That is why every line here is written as a suggestion, never an instruction — nothing on this page tells you what to buy or what to decide.

One thing said plainly: astrology has no scientific basis. This page is pure entertainment, and important decisions deserve facts and your own judgment. On that understanding, one minute with your sign over coffee makes a rather pleasant way to open a day.

How the daily horoscope works

  1. Pick your sign from the twelve (birth-date ranges are shown).
  2. Read the overall line, the four category notes, and today’s thought.
  3. Take the lucky color, item, and number along as the day’s small game.
  4. Your sign is remembered on this device for next time.
  5. A new reading arrives when the date changes — see you tomorrow.

Daily Horoscope FAQ

When does the reading change?

At midnight, by your device’s date. Each daily horoscope is fixed by the date and your star sign, so the same day always shows you the same reading.

How do I know my sign?

By your birth date — each star sign button shows its date range, so pick where your birthday falls. Born on a boundary day? Reading both signs is half the fun.

Are horoscopes real?

Astrology has no scientific basis. This daily horoscope is entertainment, and its lines are written as light, harmless suggestions that could fit anyone’s day. Real decisions deserve facts and your own judgment.

Why doesn’t refreshing change my reading?

By design. If you could re-roll a horoscope until the stars flattered you, it would be a slot machine. Same date and same sign, same reading — tomorrow brings a new one.

Is there a Chinese zodiac version?

This daily fortune uses the twelve Western star signs, which work identically across all the languages this site serves. The Chinese zodiac has its own page here — enter your birth date and it gives your animal, what that year is said to shape, and a short reading for today. It handles the Lunar New Year boundary, so a January birthday lands in the right animal's year.

Is my sign choice stored?

Only the sign number, only in this browser, so your daily horoscope appears instantly on your next visit. Nothing is sent to any server, and clearing browser data removes it.

Is the Daily Horoscope free, and do I need to enter my birth date or sign up?

Free, with no account and no email, and you never type a birth date or a birth time. You tap your sign, that is the whole input. Horoscope sites usually collect a full birth chart because the chart is the product they sell later — this page has nothing to sell, so it asks for nothing.

How is this different from the horoscope in an app?

Two things. It costs nothing and asks for nothing, and the reading is fixed for the day rather than generated each time you look — so what you read this morning is still there this evening, which is the part that makes a daily reading worth anything at all.
